IN-LAWS, OUTLAWS, AND OTHER PEOPLE (THAT SHOULD BE SHOT)
A Comedy / Farce / Modern Melodrama
Written By: Steve Franco (2012)
Directed By: Erik Strauts
It’s Christmas time at Blackwood Players Inc as we proudly to present the Australian Premier of In-Laws, Outlaws and Other People (That Should Be Shot) this coming November.
It is 6 pm and the Douglas family is busy preparing to be invaded by their quirky relatives for their annual Christmas Eve dinner. After robbing a neighbourhood liquor store, high strung and irritable Tony and his dim-witted sidekick Vinny find themselves in need of a place to briefly hide out. Using a ruse to gain entrance into the Douglas home, they suddenly find themselves in charge of an ever-growing list of family members that they are forced to hold hostage.
A fun play with outrageous smart aleck teenagers to nosy neighbours, and bickering adults. You’ll find the laughs (like the flow of people) are non-stop.
Book your tables and bring the festive spirit along to an enjoyable evening of laugh out loud comedy. You might all be able to recognise one or more of your relatives on stage.
